Weed, also called marijuana, cannabis, herb, ganja, pot, herb, amongst other names, is a hardy flowering plant that grows in many parts of the world. It survives many climatic conditions apart from extreme temperatures. The plant can grow wild in the forests; however, human beings have cultivated and grown it as a crop for food, fiber, medicine and religious intents.  Weed has got three different strains that are distinguished by their levels of effect. There is Cannabis Sativa, Cannabis Indica, and Cannabis Ruderalis. Cannabis Ruderalis has low THC levels (Tetrahydrocannabinol), an active ingredient that brings about a high feeling to the user. Cannabis Indica is moderate, while Sativa has the highest concentration of THC. Cannabis Sativa is the most preferred subspecies. Its positive effects are motivation, hyperactivity, inspiration, increased creativity, stimulated appetite for food and sex, reduces nausea and increases focus and alertness. The main negative aspect of weed is that it has been abused worldwide and caused addiction and high crime levels. This is a result of hyperactivity and lack of proper judgment.
